The Haleyville Board of Education met Tuesday, May 22 for their regular monthly meeting will all members present.

The Board approved the agenda and the minutes of the regular session on April 24, 2007.

Under new business, the Board elected Larry Burleson as president and Sandra Manasco as vice-president of the Board for the coming year.
A substitute teacher list was approved.

Other business was the approval of a fundraiser for the golf team to have an annual 3-man scramble golf tournament at the Haleyville Country Club, Oct 27, 2007.

The next regular scheduled meeting of the Haleyville BOE will be Tuesday, June 25, 7 p.m. at the HHS.
